Hathras Gang Rape: Police forcefully took the body to cremation ground

Hathras: The dead body of the Hathras gang-rape victim reached the village late on Tuesday and the last rites of the victim were performed amidst heavy opposition from the family and the villagers. But when the victim's body reached the village in the middle of the night, the angry villagers were not ready for the funeral.

Funeral without consent of Victim's family:

But despite heavy opposition from the villagers, the victim has been cremated. In view of the anger of the people, a large number of police is deployed in the area. Continuing justice is being demanded by the family, before the family refused to perform the funeral in haste.

Politics has also intensified in this matter. Already, the UP Congress has accused the police by tweeting that the police want to forcibly perform the last rites of the victim. The family is saying let them go home once. The government has come down to so much havoc.

In Mid night Hathras Police forcefully did funeral:

The body of the gangrape victim reached Hathras at 12:45 in the night. When the ambulance was taken for the funeral, people stopped it. The ambulance stayed at the victim's village till 2:35 pm. But after repeated unsuccessful attempts at 2:45 in the night, the police left the ambulance for the last rites.

The victim was then cremated. The victim's father and brother were accompanied by DM and SP. When the ambulance reached the village after taking the victim's body, people started protesting on the streets.

The police forced the relatives to cremate victim's body. SP and DM earnestly tried to persuade the victim's father for the last rites. After this, the victim was cremated at 2:45 am amid heavy police deployment.

Dalit girl rape case of Hathras:

Superintendent of Police Vikrant Veer confirmed the death of the victim. It is known that the shameful incident of gang rape with the woman was carried out on 14 September. After this, the accused also attacked him with murder.

On Monday, she was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi from JN Medical College, Aligarh after the condition became very critical.

Rapists were arrested after complaint:

Hathras Superintendent of Police Vikram Veer said that all the four named accused have been arrested in connection with this gang rape on September 14. After the rape, the victim was humiliated. In this case, the accused were identified as Sandeep, Lavkush, Ramu and Ravi, who belong to the village. Hathras Superintendent of Police said that Sandeep was arrested on September 14 itself.
