Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik will inaugurate a social event HN Bahuguna National Social Summit here on Friday that will focus on women empowerment and gender equality.

Jusprudentia Society for Transcendence in Law will organize the event at the Atal Auditorium of Dr Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University. Apna Bharat newspaper and Newstrack News Website is the official media partner of the event.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister of Women Welfare, Family Welfare, Maternity and Child Welfare and Tourism, Rita bahuguna Joshi, Minister of Law and Justice, Brijesh Pathak, Vice Chancellor SMNRU, Pravir Kumar also have been invited.

It is an initiative for discussion on bringing about positive social change. It is the flagship annual event and primary public engagement initiative with massive potential for research, collaborating community, influencing public policy, and generating a significant positive conclusion and impact.

This Summit is designed to inspire and empower with the aim of better addressing these challenges, It moves far beyond just talking – it is a carefully designed journey for learning and co-creating our future together.

Convenor of the National Social Summit, Shubham Tripathi said that the event also will mark presence of social activist and Padma Shri Runa Banerjee, Former DG Sutapa Sanyal, Supreme Court advocate Abha Singh, senior journalist Sunita Aron, social activist Preeti Saxena, Professor Shefali Yadav, noted Cartoonist Aseem Trivedi, Gulabi Gang founder Sampat Pal and many others.
