Ballia: Traffic on Ballia-Chapra section of the Northern-eastern Railways was disrupted due to derailment of a goods train in small hours, on Saturday, near Bansdeeh railway station.

According to the official sources, the train carrying cement derailed just a few minutes after Rajdhani Express crossed the site.

Officials of North Eastern Railway have rushed to the spot and arrangements were made to clear the route, said official sources. The blockage has resulted in diversion of many trains, they added.

  • Sarnath express and Sadbhawana express have been diverted to Bhatni-Mau track.
