Gangrape victim's daughter registers statement against Gayatri Prajapati
Lucknow: The daughter of the gangrape victim, who lodged a case against former Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and six others, registered her statement with the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) on Friday.
The victim's counsel Amita Singh brought the girl to CJM Sandhya Srivastava's chamber under heavy security. Earlier on February 25, the victim had registered her statement in the case against the Samajwadi Party leader.

It may be recalled that on February 18, 2017, on Supreme Court's orders, a gangrape case was registered against Prajapati and six others under relevant sections of IPC at Gautam Palli police station here.
Subsequently, police had traced and sent the accused behind bars.
