On the eve of International Women’s Day, today a group of approximately 45 underprivileged women from Care Foundation from different sections of the society from Bahraich got a wonderful chance to travel in Lucknow Metro and enjoy the Metro ride between Indira Nagar Metro Station and C.C.S. Airport Metro Station and back.

Free travel for GoSmart Card Users on 1st Anniversary of UP Metro

Lucknow: On the eve of International Women’s Day, today a group of approximately 45 underprivileged women from Care Foundation from different sections of the society from Bahraich got a wonderful chance to travel in Lucknow Metro and enjoy the Metro ride between Indira Nagar Metro Station and C.C.S. Airport Metro Station and back.

They also visited Hazratganj Metro Station where they had an interactive session on menstrual hygiene and women empowerment by Dr. Ritu Trivedi, Scientist, Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow.

They thanked Shri Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, UPMRC for providing them an opportunity to cherish such a memorable moment of their life. They were also given the refreshments during their journey.

Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Mr. Kumar Keshav today rewarded the passengers of Lucknow Metro at Hazratganj Metro Station by giving them Go Smart Cards, Metro Souvenirs and Certificates.

MD Kumar Keshav awarded the winners:

Ms. Sunuri Dandeniya, the lucky 2.51th Crore passenger traveling by Lucknow Metro was rewarded a Rs. 1000 recharge Gosmart card along with a Metro souvenir and a certificate by Mr. Kumar Keshav.

Along with her top ten Go smart card users were also awarded. The top Go smart card users, who remain in the first and second place, were rewarded with the Souvenir, Certificate and Go Smart Card of Rs 1000 and Rs 750, respectively.

Mr. Kumar Keshav honored all other eight passengers by giving Metro souvenir, certificate and Go smart card of worth Rs 500.
