First SP, then BJP violates election code of conduct in Lucknow

Lucknow: After Samajwadi Party, it is the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to breach the election code of conduct in Uttar Pradesh capital city on Friday.

BJP's campaign vehicle was found commuting at Puraniya here on Friday.

Few vehicles with posters of BJP leaders and slogans "Saath Aayein Parivartan Laayein" and "Poorn Bahumat Sampoorn Vikas Bhajpa par Hai Vishwaas" written over it were parked alongside the road.

It may be mentioned that Samajwadi Party (SP) workers on Friday morning violated the model code of conduct outside the Chief Minister's residence.

Uttar Pradesh will go on polls in seven phases starting from Feb 11, 2017. The results will be announced on March 15.
