FICCI FLO organises a virtual event "In Conversation with Ms.PRIYA PRAKASH -The Health Hustler"

The importance of Startups cannot be overemphasized as they can play a significant role in economic growth. They create emplyment and can also contribute to economic dynamism by encouraging innovation.

The guest speaker, Priya Prakash heads India's largest health organisation for schools that aims to create the country's largest network of healthy schools and inculcate lifelong healthy behaviour in children featuring the growth monitoring of students which is done at the school level in other countries.

HealthSetGo, India's leading health organisation for schools is impacting the lives of over 250,000 students and parents through providing access to medical care and health education.

Close on the heels of being honoured as the ‘Finalist of Cartier’s Women’s Initiative Awards 2019’, Priya Prakash has gained notable recognition for her work and her numerous accolades include awards like ‘Forbes Award Under 30 in Asia for Healthcare and Sciences’, Unilever Young Entreprenuer of the Year 2018 and ‘Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year by IHW .

Her most commendable achievement however, has been the Global Citizen award, the only Indian to have achieved this recognition.

A candid tete-a-tete with Priya brought to fore her life's journey from an obese and unhealthy child to a confident and healthy young achiever who also is a state level weight lifter and a ted ex speaker.

Talking about her startup, Priya said:

The HealthSetGo Organization was established with a vision to build a healthy planet by inculcating healthy habits in children. When speaking about public health interventions, I believe that we need to focus on the generation of the future : our children . We are bringing a focus on ‘health care’ rather than ‘sickcare’. Today we are providing quality healthcare to both private as well as government schools across India. Only a healthy child can only lead a healthy nation.

Puja Garg:

The FICCI FLO Lucknow Chapterchair, Mrs Puja Garg emphasised on the need to promote startups in our country especially among women entrepreneurs and said ," it was a privilege to host Priya Prakash in our midst today as she stands for everything that a woman today should aspire to be: strong, confident and intelligent with the will to bring about a positive change in society while creating jobs by way of business initiative and creative thinking."
