Lucknow: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath said that the state government is committed to the safe and secure return of migrant workers and workers.

The officers posted in the field should communicate with other states and make arrangements to send workers and workers returning to Uttar Pradesh by the Shramik Express or safe vehicles only. Food should be provided to every worker or laborer coming to the state.

Arrangement of drinking water should also be ensured at various places. Medical screening should be ensured by taking them to the Quarantine Center.

Skilling of migrant workers and workers should be done while keeping them in the quarantine center, so that after the completion of home quarantine, efforts can be started from now on to provide them employment in the state itself.

On Sunday, the Chief Minister said that the officers of the Agriculture Department should visit the wheat procurement centers set up in different districts of the state and cooperate in the purchase of the produce of the farmers.

He directed that migrant workers do not travel using illegal vehicles like trucks, dala, bikes, bicycles etc. He said that the police should stop this and also make the migrant workers aware in this regard, because there is a possibility of accident by running with such means.
