Aggrieved rail employees protest in Jhansi rail control room

Jhansi: The employees in the Control Room of the Jhansi Railway Division under North Central Railways (NCR) have threatened to disrupt train traffic operations in protest against the sudden demise of one of their colleagues, who died of heart attack.

Employees have accused the railway authorities of misbehaviour and overburdening them with the work which according to them led to the death of one employee.

The protest has obstructed the commuting of trains on the Delhi - Bhopal route, causing the delay of several trains.

A spokesperson of the local rail union says , "If no senior authority intervenes in the issue, the Delhi - Kanpur rail route also would be affected in next few hours."
