E-office application inaugurated in SGPGIMS, Lucknow today

Lucknow: e-office application is being commenced at SGPGIMS from 01-Sep-2021. SGPGIMS is a tertiary care medical centre and a leader in using technology for transparency and accountability.

This application will enhance to make SGPGIMS working more digital and effective. e-Office application is being deployed at SGPGIMS as part of Uttar Pradesh Government digital initiative through Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation (Nodal agency for e-office in the State of Uttar Pradesh).

The inauguration of e-office at SGPGIMS was done by Prof. R.K.Dhiman, Director, SGPGIMS in gracious presence of Mr.Rishirendra Kumar, IAS, Special Secretary, IT and Electronics and Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Limited. Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

Prof. Gaurav Agarwal, CMS, Prof. Rajneesh K Singh, JDA, Prof.Uttam Singh (HOD , BHI), Mr.Praveen Kumar, Consultant Policy(UPLC), Mr.Surya Kumar Patnaik, Officer In-charge and Scientist, STPI, Mr.A.K.Singh Sr. AO,SGPGI and others dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Mr. Rishiendra Kumar assured to extend every possible help to SGPGI to run e-office application.

The salient features of e-office application:

e-office application has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, Government of India.The application is a digital workplace solution. SGPGI has presently enrolled 482 users in e-office system who will work on this application.

The users have been provided training for working on e-office by Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics, SGPGI. No new files will be opened physically, all letters/meeting notices, office orders, circulars will be issued and circulated on e-office,e-files and letters can be tracked and their status is known at all times. This will transform the work culture at SGPGIMS and will make most of the working paperless.The deployment of this application will help the institution to use the manpower available for more productive work.

Our vision is to achieve a simplified, responsive, effective and transparent working of all Departments/Sections for patient welfare and excellence through e office.
