UP Polls: BJP seeks removal of UP DGP Javeed Ahmed

Lucknow: Election Commission (EC) has received a complaint for the removal of Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Javeed Ahmed.

In a letter to EC, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Keshav Prasad Maurya said, "He has superseded many officers to be posted as UP DGP by virtue of being close to the ruling Yadav clan."
