Lucknow: Firing a fresh salvo at Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said, for several developmental schemes, former state government did not take money from the Centre fearing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would get all the credit.

"UP people were remained away from development just for the sake that PM Modi should not get credit. This is why Samajwadi Party government did not take money from the Centre for several beneficiary schemes. Centre was always ready to provide funds," said Yogi Adityanath.

He said it is not that government is working rapidly but the speed of working of government should be same. Yogi said if unnecessary expenses and theft would be stopped then 36 thousand crores will come automatically in a year.

He admitted that his government will leave no stone unturned to make district hospitals match the level of Medical college.

UP CM flagged off new ambulances equipped with life-saving technology.

According to the scheme, two ambulances having life-saving technologies will be installed in each district of Uttar Pradesh. A total of 150 ambulances were launched by Yogi Adityanath.

It may be mentioned here since his enthronement as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has taken several stern decisions for the upliftment of the state. Be it anti-romeo squad or banning of illegal slaughterhouses, with almost every of his decision, controversy also stirred.
