Covid-19 vaccination to take place every Thursday, Friday from next week in UP

In Uttar Pradesh, the State government has fixed two days of week for COVID-19 vaccination drive. From next week, the vaccination in the State will be conducted on Thursday and Friday every week.

The COVID-19 vaccination drive is going on smoothly in the State. In addition, the remaining health workers will be vaccinated on 22nd of this month. Also, on 28th and 29th January also health workers will be vaccinated in the State.

“The next round of Covid-19 vaccination will take place on January 22 and from next week, the vaccination will be held on every Thursday and Friday.” In the periods to be held in January, well being staff will probably be coated, ”stated Additional Chief Secretary Health and household welfare Amit Mohan Prasad.

Vaccination Drive

Yesterday the vaccination drive was kicked off at Command Hospital of Central Command in Lucknow. However, The Commandant Maj. Gen. Ramesh Kaushik led by example by receiving the first vaccine.

The vaccination drive was conducted as per laid down government protocols. A total of 200 health care workers were vaccinated today with no adverse events.

However, a total of 1,500 health care workers in Lucknow Military Station are planned to be vaccinated under the drive.

Detailed orders had been issued to districts on this regard by Aparna U, mission director, National Health Mission, UP. To word, the state has ready a listing of round 9 lakh well being staff to be inoculated within the state of which about 22,000 had been coated within the first spherical.
