Congress' manifesto is just an eyewash: Mayawati

Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati on Wednesday said that the election manifesto released by Congress for UP Assembly Polls is nothing but an eyewash for the people in the state.

Calling the manifesto a bunch of 'lies', Mayawati said that Congress did a formality by announcing it.

What else Mayawati said?

- Congress did nothing in the states govern by it.

- Congress' manifesto is a copy-paste from the manifestos released by SP and BJP.

- Mayawati said that Congress is contesting on just 100 seats out of the 403 assembly constituencies. What is the use of releasing its own manifesto when SP already had released one.
