Lucknow/Barabanki , Congress National General Secretary Smt. Priyanka Gandhi flagged off the Congress' Pratigya Yatra' from Harakh Bazar in Barabanki. Reiterating the promise of "Vachan Hum Nibhayenge" while announcing seven pledges, she attacked the double engine government of the BJP fiercely. She said that the government's efforts to crush justice will not be successful, the oppressive treatment of farmers cannot be accepted at any cost. The minimum support price of paddy will be given at the rate of Rs 2500 and to the sugarcane Rs 400 per quintal. Promising to do all this after the formation of the Congress government in Uttar Pradesh, She said that the small shopkeepers, Poor families in front of whom the crisis of livelihood stood in the Corona period, Half of the electricity bill will help them clear the dues of Corona period.

She announced that 25 thousand rupees would be given to the families affected during the Corona period. Arrangements would be made by the Congress government to give government employment to 20 lakh youngsters.
