Lucknow: During the video conferencing with CM Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi informed him about the strengthening of medical infrastructure in the state and the support received from the center. CM Yogi said that at present, 503 Covid hospitals of Level-1, Level-2, Level-3 are operational in the state.

A total of one lakh one thousand 236 beds are available in these hospitals. Free food grains have been distributed to 18 crore people 05 times. Free food grains distribution is going to start for the sixth time from next 20 June.

UP CM Yogi said that till now more than five lakh tests have been done to check the infection of Covid-19 in the state. Currently around 16,000 tests are being conducted every day related to infection of Covid-19. It is targeted to be increased to 20,000 by 20 June.

He said that community surveillance system in the state has been strengthened. With one lakh 21 thousand 746 teams visiting 92.1 lakh homes and screening 4.70 crore people, awareness of Covid-19 has been spread.

Capacity of quarantine centers in the state is around 1.5 Lakh:

The capacity of quarantine centers in the state is around 1.5 lakh. Those found infected by pool test and personal test at the Quarantine Center have been admitted to dedicated Covid hospitals. He said that about 35 lakh workers came to the state.

They were screened and provided with ration kits and sent home for home quarantine. In the home quarantine, 70,000 monitoring committees have been set up to monitor them, which monitor them and report continuously.
