CM Yogi directs officials; says 'Unlock' is not Freedom

CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed concern about the increasing negligent of the public after Unlock1 in UP. The State Govt have asked to follow the lockdown.

Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed concern about the increasing negligent of the public after Unlock1 in UP. The State Govt have asked to follow the lockdown. It also said that no more than 05 people should gather in public places. CM said that police should stop all these activities without any late.

Social Distancing is compulsory:

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed on taking utmost care to break the chain of transition of Covid-19 and said that Unlock does not mean freedom. He has asked to ensure strict compliance of social distancing. Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that arrangements have been made to provide exemption in areas outside the Containment Zone in a phased manner.

In a statement issued by the Chief Minister's office, Adityanath said, "Provisions have been made to give relaxation in areas outside the containment zones in a phased manner. For this, relaxation will be given for various activities."

Under this, various activities are to be exempted from June 8, 2020. He directed Additional Chief Secretary Home to issue guidelines regarding the protocol of these activities to be allowed.

UNLOCK ONE: CORONA UPDATES

The cases of corona infections in India have been climb to two lakh 36 thousand. According to the Health Ministry data, there are now a total of 2,36,657 cases of corona in the country, while 6,642 people have died. At the same time 1,15,942 people were discharged.

In Uttar Pradesh, 12 deaths and 502 new COVID19 positive cases reported in last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 257 and number of positive cases to 9733.
