CM Yogi Adityanath flags off 'Sherni Dasta' in Gorakhpur

CM Yogi Adityanath is on two day tour of Girakhour. Today, he performed aarti  in the Shakti temple after worshiping Shiva Avatari Guru Gorakshanath on the first Monday of Sawan.

CM Yogi Adityanath flags off 'Sherni Dasta' in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath is on two day tour of Girakhour. Today, he performed aarti in the Shakti temple after worshiping Shiva Avatari Guru Gorakshanath on the first Monday of Sawan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath then started a five-tree plantation campaign at a BJP booth on the occasion of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee's 119th birth anniversary. Also did tree planting in the Gorakshanath temple complex.

Scooters for women constables:

After this, Chief Minister Yogi dedicated 100 scooters to women constables from Hero Motocorp under social responsibility. These scooters given through Gorakhpur Police. Today CM Yogi gave 100 female Scooters to women constables in all police station areas of Gorakhpur so that they can patrol their areas.

CM Adityanath flags off Sherni squad:

Due to lack of resources, the patrolling of women policemen reduced. Mostly they were posted at some point or their dependence on the vehicles of the police station. After all the incidents of female crimes, it was felt that women police patrolling was necessary.

With which today the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath flagged off this 'Sherni squad'. After the formation of this 'Sherni squad', now women policemen will also patrol in their areas. Their duty will put in a place where women or students come and need security.

The same Gorakhpur zone DIG Rajesh Modak said, 'Since the formation of this squad, now the loners can closely monitored and women policemen will also able to make people feel safe.'
