UP CM releases funds for kins of freshly marked U’Khand tragedy victims

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday ordered the release of Rs 1.10 crore for the kins of 55 freshly marked UP people who died or went permanently missing in the June 16-17, 2013 Uttarakhand natural calamity.

Condoling the deaths in the 2013 Uttarakhand tragedy, UP CM said, "This money will provide some financial help to the family of those who got affected in the natural disaster. The calamity had caused huge losses to the public properties and basic amenities of people."

It may be mentioned that a total of 1,018 people of Uttar Pradesh had died or went missing in the natural tragedy in Uttarakhand in 2013, and their kins had already been provided financial help from the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

Now, the UP CM has extended the helping hands towards the freshly marked 55 people who have been identified dead or permanently missing in the calamity.
