Bulandshahr Violence: Yogesh Raj releases video; claims he is innocent

Bulandshahr: Prime accused in the Bulandshahr violence that took place on December 3, Yogesh Raj has released a video stating that he was innocent.

The district convenor of Bajrang Dal in Bulandshahr, Raj said, "I deeply regret the violence that broke out in Siyana... I have been wrongly framed... I was not present when the violence broke out. I am sure God will ensure that I get justice."

It may be recalled that Police inspector Subodh Kumar and a local villager Sumit were killed in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday in the violence that broke out after cow carcasses were found strewn in the jungle.

A post-mortem report confirmed that the cop was both hit by a hard and blunt object and also suffered gunshot injury.

An FIR was registered later in which 27 people were named. However, cases have been filed against 50 to 60 unidentified people.
