Body Builders show their strength in '10th Federation Cup'

The '10th Federation Cup' organized for the first time in Lucknow on Sunday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan by the Uttar Pradesh Body Building Association. Three competitions were held under this national championship.

Lucknow: The '10th Federation Cup' organized for the first time in Lucknow on Sunday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan by the Uttar Pradesh Body Building Association. Three competitions were held under this national championship. Under this, 13th Senior Women's Body Building, 8th Women's Sports Model Physique and Fitness Physique, and Senior Men's Body Building Championship were organized.




People from all over the country participated in the championship. On this special occasion, officials of the Indian Body Building Federation were present as judge. Among them Chetan Manohar Pathare (General Secretary, World Body Building), Premchand Degra (Arjuna Award Winner), Heral Shah (First Women Secretary, Indian Women's Body Building Federation) and Arvind Madho (President, Indian Body Building Federation) were present.

'10th Federation Cup'

The program began with the dance performance by the children of Lucknow International Public School. On this occasion, President of Uttar Pradesh Body Building Association Sajid Ahmad said that 'Organizing this championship in Lucknow is like a dream come true for me. When I got the responsibility of the President, it was only then that I thought that I should do all the work for which I was elected, while performing my duty.





Swatantra Dev Singh (State President, BJP), Dr. Abhishek Mishra (SP leader), Jayveer Raj Singh Gohil (Yuvraj, Bhavnagar), Gaurav Taneja (famous YouTuber), Anandeshwar Pandey as chief guests. (General Secretary, Indian Olympic Association), RP Singh (Director, Sports Department) Navneet Sehgal (ACS, Information Department, UP Govt) and Ajay Kumar Dwivedi (Municipal Commissioner, Lucknow Municipal Corporation) were present.




BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh said, 'health of youth is very important for nation building. These people have given a new identity to body building by working hard day and night. He also said that 'open gym is being built in villages in the state by Chief Minister Yogi and the youth of the country is changing with the fit India movement by Prime Minister Modi'.

SP leader Dr. Abhishek Mishra was also present as the special guest in this program. The former cabinet minister congratulated the organizers and said that 'I am very happy that this program is happening in Lucknow. These participants have worked very hard. They spend three to four days without drinking water. It is their hard work, the result of which was seen today. ' He also said that 'I and our party are committed to promote sports and sportspersons in UP and we have done a lot of work for this'.

Winners:

Geeta Saini, hailing from Haryana, was the winner in the 13th Senior Women's Body Building Competition. She has received gold medal and trophy by SP leader Abhishek Mishra. At the second place, Madhavi Bilochan (Jharkhand), third place Angudam Kavita (Manipur), fourth place Supriti Aracharji (Chhattisgarh) and fifth place Tanvir Fatima Haq (Maharashtra) in this competition.




Sanju (CRSCB) was the winner in the 8th Women's Sports Model Physique (category under 162 cm) competition. Rita Devi (Chandigarh) was placed second, Sonia Mitra (West Bengal) was third, Manjari Bhavsar (Maharashtra) was fourth and Nisha Bhoyar (Chhattisgarh) was fifth.

Ankita (Karnataka) was the winner in the 8th Women's Sports Model Physique (category above 162 cm) competition. Veena Hemant Chauhan (Maharashtra) was ranked second, Gudiya Khatoon (Assam) was third, Aribam Rebika Devi (Manipur) was fourth and Solima Jaijo (Manipur) was fifth.

Sonia Mitra (West Bengal) secured the first position in the 8th Women's Sports Model Physique (Open category). Sanju (CRSCB) got the second place, Nisha Bhoyar (Chhattisgarh) got the third place and Pallavi Jaiswal (West Bengal) got the fourth position.

Sajid Ahmed and Vishwas Rao (President and General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Body Building Association) also made their presence as the organizers of the entire event.
