Sambhal: AIMIM national president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday blamed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of trying to politicise the surgical strike for electoral benefits, which was purely the result of the heroics of Indian soldiers.

Addressing an election rally here, he said, "BJP is consistently boasting about the surgical strike as if their leaders went to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and assassinated the culprits of the Uri terror attack. It was the only heroics of our soldiers that we succeeded in avenging the killing of 19 Indian jawans."

He condemned PM Modi over the blazing issues like demonetisation and triple talaq. He alleged that the ISI agent caught in Madhya Pradesh was the leader of BJP's IT cell.

He also criticised the Samajwadi Party (SP) led Uttar Pradesh government saying that most number of rapes took place in Akhilesh Yadav's regime, and he proudly says ‘work speaks'.
