Lucknow: Bhartiya Janata Party national President Amit Shah on Saturday said that Uttar Pradesh assembly election should be based on work rather than communal politics." BJP wants to change the present condition of UP and its residents through our works. Elections of a state should not be based on communal politics rather the parties should focus on development agendas." He further said," Agenda for election should be pre-decided."
What else Shah said?
- We appeal the UPiites to give us a chance in the state.We want to change the living conditions of state residents.
- BJP has not decided its chief ministerial candidates yet because we do not believe in passing on responsibilities to our family members. The one who has to secure place in the party would have to work hard for people of the country.
- BJP wants to strengthen Muslim women of the state.
- We may consider triple talaq for the agenda of upcoming elections.
- BJP is devoted for constructing Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
- If we come to powe, we would work for better law and order and women empowerment.
Shah on demonetisation:
- The step would not adversely affect the common people of the country.
- The centre is continuously trying to reduce the problems faced by people in exchanging and withdrawing the new currency notes.
- I accept that there is inconvenience for few days but the step would reap positive results in long run.
- Demonetisation has stopped the Hawala business in the country.
