Azam Khan hits out at PM Modi; invokes 2002 Gujarat riots

Kannauj: Taking potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Samajwadi Party firebrand leader Azam Khan on Friday said former keeps on saying that Uttar Pradesh has a government of goons and he himself has forgotten 2002 Gujarat riots.

“PM Modi said Uttar Pradesh has a government of guns. UP people are not aware about goons. People of Gujarat understand goons. Carnage happened in Gujarat. The entire world has seen that blot on India. PM Modi knows well about goons, about acid, about death. We have only suffered it,” said Azam Khan while addressing a rally in Chhibramau constituency here.

He said PM Modi even made his mother stand in a bank queue to lower down public’s anger for demonetisation and gaining praises on news channels.

What else Azam Khan said?

  • It was PM Modi, who called us puppies.
  • The entire country was silent, but we demanded an answer for his remark.
  • Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has cheated the public.
