Youth Congress differs from Rahul Gandhi, wants Kanhaiya's head
Allahabad: The Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress is singing a different tune than that of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on JNU's Kanhaiya Kumar issue. While Rahul Gandhi is in support of the Kumar, Youth Congress in the state has put up posters and banners in Allahabad demanding Kanhaiya's head for his statement of Indian Army.
As show in picture, these posters and banners have been found hanging at different places in Allahabad on Thursday where the AICC president Sonia Gandhi paid a visit only two days ago.
Unfazed by the support extended by the Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi to JNU leader Kanhaiya Kumar, the youth Congressmen in Allahabad have openly vent their grouse over Kanhaiy'as controversial statement on Indian Army through posters and banners.
Version of district president of Congress Yuva Morcha:
- The country is enraged over controversial statement made by Kanhaiya, said district president Jitendra Tiwari.
- Not only JNU students but everyone is ashamed of it.
What is written on the banner?
“Kanhaiya ham sharminda hain, tu bharat me zinda hai. Sainik hamari jaan hain, wo bharat ki shaan hai. Jis din tumko marenge, chatra kalank utarenge.”
