The biggest examination exercise, UP board exams from Thurday

Allahabad/Lucknow: The High School and Intermediate examinations 2015-16, arguably the biggest exam of the World, will commence in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.

Conducted by UP secondary Education Board, popularly known as UP Board, the exam will have a total of about 68 lakh students appearing in examinations for both the classes.

• UP Board is supposed to be the biggest examination body of the world.
• total of 67,93,034 students are registered for the examinations including 37,49,977 students for high school and 30,43,057 students for intermediate examination.
• Over 12000 centres have been arranged for exams.
• This year the number of examinees is, 3.69 lakh more than as compared to the last year - 2.51 lakh more in Class 10 and 1.18 lakh in Class 12, According to Secretary UP Board Shail Yadav.
• The High School Exams will end on March 9 while Intermediate exams will concluded on March 21.
