Ram Naik lends support to Yogi government over Anti-Romeo row
Allahabad: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik on Friday came in support of newly elected UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Amid people's criticism over police misplaced action of 'Anti-Romeo Squad operations, Ram Naik said newly elected government should be given proper time to execute their plans to work appropriately to fulfil the poll promises.
"They have formed government with huge margin. Uttar Pradesh people need not to lose faith from the ruling government and should give them time to work for the betterment of the state," said Ram Naik while addressing a seminar on Ram Manohar Lohia here.
What else Ram Naik said?
- The step has been taken for the safety of girls.
- The state government should give priority to law and order crises in the state.
- The newly elected government should also fulfil their poll promises by rooting out corruption and betterment of education system.
