Indian Air Force's Chetak helicopter crashes in Allahabad, pilots safe

Allahabad: An Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter, Chetak, was crashed due to technical snag at the Allahabad Kaushambi border in the early morning on Wednesday. Though no casualties were reported.

The chopper took off from the Bamrauli air base of Allahabad and was on its way to land when the incident took place. The pilots had immediately informed the ground crew about the malfunctioning in the chopper.

According to the officials, Both the pilots were safely rescued and the Indian Air Force has ordered a probe into the matter.
