Controversial posters dot the Sangam city

Allahabad: The city of intellectuals is turning out to the city of controversial posters, it seems. In yet another poster, dalits have demanded picture of Baba Saheb Bheem Rao Ambedkar on currency notes.

The poster:

• A note of Rs 1000 is printed on the posters
• The posters also have a pictures of Dr Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi.
• It has a slogan of “Bharat ke dalito ki yahi pukaar, baba sahib ka bharatiya mudrao par ho adhikaar.

Virendra Sonkar, district president of Virendra Sonkar said that India can never forget the contribution of Babasaheb and it is the high time that his picture should be imprinted on Indian currency.
