Cong suspends functionaries for putting up Priyanka’s posters

Allahabad: The Congress party has suspended two of its district general secretaries in Allahabad of Uttar Pradesh for putting up posters having written ‘Priyanka Gandhi coming soon’ on them.

Haseeb Ahmed and Shreesh Dubey were consistently issuing posters, signifying Priyanka Gandhi as the new congress face.

These posters were even shared and made viral on social media platforms.

“I think what I did was not wrong and it is the due time when Priyanka is needed by the party. It was just a move towards the party’s betterment,” said Haseeb Ahmed in a statement.
