Amanmani Tripathi granted bail in wife’s murder case

Allahabad: Samajwadi Party leader Amanmani Tripathi on Thursday was granted bail by the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High court in connection with the murder of his wife Sara.

Amanmani is the son of jailed Samajwadi Party leader Amarmani Tripathi.

Amanmani’s wife Sara had lost his life in a car accident on July 9, 2015 on National Highway-2 of Firozabad district. Amanmani was also along with his wife when the mishap had taken place.

Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested Amanmani Tripathi from Delhi after UP Police failed to find any evidence in his wife’s alleged murder on July 9, 2015.

Sara’s mother, however, had blamed Amanmani of killing her daughter.
