Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court on Monday modified the order of CBI Court Ghaziabad and directed that accused of NHRM scam, Pradeep Shukla an IAS officer shall deposit Rs 5 lakh before the Court instead of Rs 50 lakh as directed by the CBI Court.

Earlier, CBI Court had granted bail to Pradeep Shukla in NHRM scam on the condition that he would deposit Rs 50 lakh in the Court till May 24, 2016.

While directing the CBI to file a counter affidavit within two weeks, Justice Arun Tandon fixed May 25 as next date of hearing.

Counsel for the petitioner argued that Shukla does not possess so much of money further in other two cases the court has directed him to deposit Rs 10 lakh while granting conditional bail.
