Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court on Thursday took strong view on the irresponsible Act of the director NCZCC, Gaurav Krishna Bansal on his sending a letter to the chief justice and approaching other judges in a case subjudice before the Court.

The Bench comprising Chief Justice Dr DY Chandrachud and Justice Dilip Gupta asked the councils appearing on behalf of Allahabad museum to apprise the director Bansal that he may not repeat the same in future.

The Bench passed this order in a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Madhu Singh where in several directions were issued by the Court for beautification of the company garden.

In compliance of the direction beautification work was carried out by the engineers of Allahabad Development Authority and a gate opening in front of museum of the garden was closed and adjacent gate was made availaible for the entrance of public.

Director Gaurav had allegedly stopped the work carried out by the ADA engineers and some heated exchanges took place between Gaurav and Additional Advocate General, CB Yadav who is also chairman of the beautification committee of the Company Bagh.

After this incident an application was moved by ADA in the court alleging stoppage of work by director and his employees and for necessary direction in this regard. During the hearing on this application, Chief justice showed a letter sent to him by the director to the counsels appearing for Allahabad museum and said that this kind of irresponsible Act by the director was uncalled for. However the bench ordered for compliance of its earlier direction regarding renovation of the company garden as it was being carried out by the ADA engineers.
