Allahabad: The clean Ganga may be high on the agenda of the Government of India and it has launched ‘Namami Gange’, an integrated Ganga conservation mission but a senior officer was seen making mockery of this in Allahabad, the city of Sangam.

While crores of public money is being proposed to be spent to clean river Ganga , the Additional District Magistrate (Nazul), Allahabad O P Srivastava was caught on camera unabashedly urinating in the sacred river. It came to light when the pictures went viral on the social media on Monday. Shrivastava was present there for supervising the arrangements of Triveni Mahotsav which is to start from February 23.
