Justice Suneet Kumar passed the order while hearing a contempt petition filed by one Monika, wife of Francis Cardoso, Sq Ldr of IAF.
Advocate Sujan Singh appearing for petitioner argued “the high court granted the petitioner immunity from arrest but police officer under influence of first informant arrested her from Car-Nicobar, which was in violation of the high court's order.”
To recall on January 21, 2015 Kunal Kumra who is an officer of IAF, had filed an FIR of theft against unknown persons at police station Dhoomanganj but later named the petitioner.
