When ordinary Rickshaw reaches CM residence, it is poll time..!!!

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh assembly polls are drawing nearer and strange things have started to take place. It was due to poll-environment that even an ordinary rickshaw manages to reach the portico of Chief Minister's official residence passing through the high-security corridors.

It might not happen after the elections but in the manner Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma riding a rickshaw reached at the doorstep of the UP CM reminds all of the 'election times' when everything is unusual and rosy. This was not the story, the real story. In fact, CM interacted with the rickshaw -puller Maniram, donated him an e-rickshaw, some money, a small house and assurance of free education to his kids.

As it was made out to be, it has made headlines in the social media without implying logic as how the rickshaw could enter the high-security zone and the CM was all prepared to shower largesee on the poor rickshaw -puller.

It was a couple of days after at a power department function in the state capital, the UP CM, though said that his government believed in doing such things silently, made public announcement of his 'charity' not forgetting to mention,rather unsavoury, that the name of the wife of the rickshaw-puller resembled the name of 'Bua(Mayawati)'.

In the heat of the moment, several questions were left unanswered that how could a rickshaw reached the portico of CM'residence, how the rickshaw -puller escaped security drill and why the CM had to publicise 'chance' encounter with him and the 'favours' given to Maniram. Such things may continue to take place before UP assembly elections are announced, it is for sure.
