CM Akhilesh to launch massive poll campaign on Jan 19 from Agra

Lucknow: The faction of Samajwadi Party, led by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, has made elaborate preparations for the election campaign ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2017.

The sources close to the CM said that Akhilesh will address a total of 19 rallies at various districts across the state.

Beginning the first one from Agra on January 19, Akhilesh will address 2-3 rallies a day in different districts.

As many as 19 helicopters have been booked by the Akhilesh-led faction of the party.

Election Commission, however, will pronounce its verdict over the Samajwadi Party's election symbol on January 17, which is also the notification date for phase one.

It may be mentioned that Uttar Pradesh will go for polls in seven phases starting from February 11.
