Government school in Agra develops rainwater harvesting system

Agra: In a attempt to combat risk of water crises and save precious resource, school in Amebedhkar Nagar has installed a rainwater harvesting system.

Earlier after falling ill many students left school, they were caught by waterborne disease such as typhoid and diarrhea happened due to contaminated water.

But the education Institution turned around introducing the rain water harvesting system in the school, this not only increased the strengthen but also helped in reducing Agra's water scarcity.

Tedhi baghiya school became first government school to install rain water harvesting tank in school and overcome the water scarcity. As the area was undergoing of scarcity from several years, drinking water used to come in tankers. But now the problem has been solved.
