Youth sodomises five-year-old cousin and smothers him to death

Agra: In a case of baseness, a youth namely Vinod Singh, on March 14 last, lured his five-year-old paternal cousin Aryan to nearby woods, of Nichakheda village under Nibohra police station limits in Agra, where he sodomised and eventually, murdered the toddler.

The police had arrested the suspect on Sunday last and recovered the body of the deceased child from the place revealed by him.

Highlights:

• The deceased Aryan’s father namely Jaiprakash Singh is a farmer as well as he works as a halwai(confectioner) in Delhi.
• Aryan was his only son apart from four daughters.
• Aryan was playing with other kids of the locality in the evening on March 14 when he was kidnapped.
• While investigating, the police found out that the child was last seen with Vinod and took him in their custody.
• During police interrogation, Vinod confessed the crime and said that he lured Aryan with a toffee to the nearby jungle.
• He sodomised the child there and later, smothered him to death hiding his body in a wheat field.
• The suspect’s brother namely Anil is also behind the bars for raping and killing a minor girl one and a half years ago.
