BJP leader Nathuram shot dead in Agra; supporters clash with cops

Agra: BJP leader Nathuram Verma, on late Monday night, was shot dead by assailants in the Taj city Agra. Situation became worse after angry locals fired and pelted stones at police team after the incident.

The incident happened in Doki area of Agra. There are also reports of a police vehicle being burnt by villagers.

Two men on bike shot Nathuram six times, leaving him dead on the spot.

Villagers catch one of the men, who was beaten to death, while the other managed to flee.
