Allahabad High Court asks UPPSC to fill up vacant APO posts

Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court on Thursday asked the Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar as to who is the Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh.

A bench of Justice AP Sahi and Justice Sanjai Harkauli passed the order as while hearing a petition the presence of AG was required. But standing counsel told the bench that as of now the new government has not appointed the AG.

The bench expressed concern that court work cannot be held up due to want of AG.
