KD Singh Babu Tennis League 2018: Aairah, Prakhar, Sanidhya clinch titles

Lucknow: The KD Singh Babu Tennis League 2018 tournament, which was organized at KD Singh Babu Stadium here, concluded on Wednesday with Aairah winning the Junior Girls' Singles Title.

En-route her road to the title clash, Aairah upsets Durba 6-3 in a one-sided affair. Meanwhile, Sanidhya Dhar Dwivedi won the boys title by defeating Saiful Islam 6-4.

In the Sub-Junior championship, Ankita Sharma outshined Sanskriti 4-1 to lift the trophy. The sub-junior boys' singles was clinched by Shaurya Narayan, who defeated Chirag Dhawan 4-2.

Prakhar Raj lifted the trophy in the Open Champioship (Singles) by defeating Ujair Ahmad 6-2, 6-4. The Doubles Trophy was clinched by Faisal and Shreyansh, who defeated Prakhar Raj and Ujair Ahmad.

The tournament was graced by Regional sports officer Jitendra Kumar and senior officer of GAIL Limited Dulal Vijay.

Tournament Head and Tennis Academy Coach, Brijesh Soni welcomed the guests and thanked everyone for their participation.
