17-year old killed as rod falls at Lucknow Metro construction site

Lucknow: A 17-year old lost his life and one other sustained serious injuries when an iron rod fell at the metro construction site here on Thursday.

The mishap took place near the University of Lucknow when two students of Colvin Taluqdars college were on their way on scooter.

The deceased, named Islamil, was a student of class 12. The injured, Zayeen, also a student of the same college, was rushed to the Vivekanand hospital.
