Mumbai: Rizwan and Arshid Khan, who were arrested by the Mumbai police few days ago in connection with their links with controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik have reportedly facilitated the conversion of over 800 people across the country, Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) officials said.

The ATS sleuths have seized several documents and marriage certificates from them, which clearly indicate that they both were indulged in the conversion of Christians and Hindus to Islam, officials said. Adding, maximum conversions have been done in Mumbai of Maharshtra.

Rizwan said he ran a marriage bureau and was not involved in any forced conversion, sources said.
