To get your ward finish the whole glass of milk in one go or to fill them with the goodness of this white creamy nectar follow these simple yet delicious ways:
Use Alternatives
If your child refuses to drink milk every time you hand over a glass to him, you can opt for some dairy-based alternative foods like yogurt and cheese. By this your child will get the required nutrition and may gradually develop a taste for milk too.
Add some taste with milkshakes
One of the main reason your child doesn't want to drink milk could be he/she doesn't have developed taste for it. You can make delicious milkshakes and smoothies in a variety of flavours he or she likes.
Add essence to the milk
Some people find the smell of milk awful and it could be hard for them to drink it. To do away with the smell part you can tweak the taste a little by adding vanilla essence or some mixes.
Make the serving more fancy
Making serving more fancy and luxurious could effect your ward psychologically and could encourage them to drink milk. Having a quirky personal mug and straw only for drinking milk can encourage them to drink it.
Develop the taste and train them to drink milk
We often dislike things for which our taste buds aren't developed. To develop the taste, start giving milk in small quantities first and make sure they drink it all. Later, you can increase the quantity of milk gradually.
Eat while Play
Children are so naive and innocent that they often get lost in playing and totally forget about other things. You can use it as an opportunity to get them drink milk while playing some drinking games.
Join them in this good habit
There is a saying 'Practice what you preach', we should also led by example and should join our ward to drink milk, this could motivate them and make drinking milk fun.
Cereals are one's best friend
There are plenty of funny and interesting cereals available in the market under various brand names. Give your child breakfast cereals with milk to kick start their day with healthy, tasty and interesting food.
