VIDEO: Delhi Cop's son thrashes woman brutally; arrested

Lucknow: Rohit Tomar, son of Delhi Police Sub-inspector Ashok Singh Tomar has been arrested after the video went viral of him beating the woman brutally.

The development came after Union Minister Rajnath Singh called the commissioner and order to take strict action against the accused.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Monika Bhardwaj said, "We have arrested rohit and a A case has been registered against him on the charges of assaulting a woman with intent to outrage her modesty and criminal intimidation under the Indian Penal Code."

It is to be mentioned that Rohit had sent this video to his ex-girlfriend and warned that if she will not marry him, a similar consequences will take place with her.

The video was recorded by Rohit's friend on September 2 inside a BPO located in Uttam Nagar area of Delhi.
