Varun Gandhi escapes unhurt as stage collapses in Moradabad

Moradabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Varun Gandhi on Sunday had to face an awkward moment when the stage collapsed minutes after he stepped on it in Pilikothi area of Moradabad district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.

He along with others,however, escaped unhurt and he went through his programme somehow. The local BJP leaders had made the arrangements in the view of his visit on the occasion of his birthday.

Varun to distribute cheques to the farmers:

The BJP MP was to distribute cheques to the families of those 30 farmers who had committed suicide when their crops were damaged due to unseasonal rainfall.
