Two killed in 'clash over discount' at Varanasi mall

Varanasi: Two salespersons were shot dead and two others were critically injured by unidentified assailants after an heated argument broke out between the salesmen and accused.

The incident took place at JHV mall located in the Cantonment Road area, on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Sunil and Gopi while the injured are identified as Golu and Vishal.

The doctors stated that their conditions are still critical.

As soon as the incident took place, the mall was immediately evacuated and sealed.

Police stated that they are questioning the people who were present at the spot and also checking CCTV footage. No arrests, however, has been made so far.
