VIDEO: Thirsty King Cobra drinks water from a bottle in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Extreme drought situations in various parts of the country have not only left humans helpless, but animals too are facing the wrath of heat strokes. To an extent that even a deadly Cobra, which is infamous for its riveting nature, calmly drank water from a bottle when offered!!!

Surprising but true! the incident is of a village in Kaiga township in Karnataka where a Cobra entered apparently in search of water.

It was something really benevolent when instead of falling in panic, the villagers, along with a team of experts, began rescue operation to save the Cobra.

Villagers discovered that he was too thirsty and was looking for water. One of the men from the animal rescue team took a grip of his tail, while another in the front held snake catcher to protect himself.

King Cobra was then offered water from the bottle and he drank it quietly. He was later taken to an animal care facility.
