Lucknow: As India is prepping up to mark the 72nd Independence Day, many of us remain confused about how to celebrate the biggest day in the history of the country.

Many of us only spend the entire day watching TV and listening to the speeches of our politicians. We perhaps never think about making it special not only for ourselves but for our family too.

Here we have so tips which will make this Independence Day a memorable one for each member of your family. Have a look:

Plan a trip with family

After watching the Independence Day Parade at the venue or the on TV, all of us should plan a family trip and enjoy the big day in the company of the most important people of our lives.

The trip should be to a nearby location where you can have some precious time with your family members.

Cook at home

If you feel short of resources for going out and spend some quality time, you can also cook something special at home just like we do on festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, etc.

Plan a hangout with friends

You can also plan to hangout with your friends at the locations where the tri-colour has been hoisted. The day must start with paying a salute to our freedom fighters and soldiers but can end in the most joyful manner by spending the entire day with your closest friends.

Fly Kites

If you are a kite lover, you should try flying a tri-colour and enjoy the sky filled with same kites.

Celebrate this day by being at home

We must spend some part of our day with the elderly people of our family and listen to their stories of the past. They will not only fill us and them with fun but will also give some teaching to us.

So, newstrack.com wishes a very Happy Independence Day to all our readers!
